“I got the margarita pizza and it had a lot of sauce and not very much mozzarella but it was still good and tasted very fresh and flavorful. The mozzarella was high quality and very delicious. It was a thin crusted pizza but the edges were puffy. I also got the Maine blueberry soda which was refreshing and yummy and the beer is also nice. Nice outdoor seating but there is a lot of dogs in the outdoor seating section so just consider that it may be annoying if they keep barking or whimpering. The service is good as well.”

“This was one of our favorite stops in the Portland area. The staff were so friendly! They provided suggestions on where to visit along our east Coast road trip, including Portland and in Newport, RI (thank you, Diego's was amazing!), helped us select our brews, and even helped us locate local vendors who sold our favorite (Pineapple Kingdom, OMG), which they had sold out of, being a limited edition collab. We stocked up before we left town. The food window for the restaurant next door was very convenient, and the brewery was bright, clean, and welcoming. Thank you for a great time!”

“What a fun time! We were visiting Freeport and stopped in for dinner and drinks. My husband had a beer flight and he said all his choices were great and I had hard cider. They have seltzers and some cocktails in cans for us non-beer drinkers-thank you! We both had the burrito bowl for dinner, which was delicious. I have celiac and it was great to be able to have food and drinks at a brewery. My husband is also a veteran so it warms our hearts to support veteran owned businesses. We loved that we could pay it forward and "Buy a Vet a beer". What a wonderful idea! They have quite a few games available to play while you are hanging out. We sat at a big table, played cribbage, sipped our drinks and had dinner. It was a perfect, relaxing evening. Thank you Stars & Stripes Brewing! We will be back the next time we are in Freeport!”

“Cindy’s has the best lobster roll around, with big chunks of fresh lobster in a toasted roll. Their coleslaw is superb…the perfect balance of mayo, vinegar and whatever spices they use! All served with hand cut fries and great customer service! Come and support them when you are in Freeport!!”

“We were not sure about this place at first. We ordered the steamed dumplings, but they were hard and almost inedible. We asked for them to be cooked more, but when they came back they were not much better. We couldn't eat them. We were sceptical when they brought the entrees, but the food turned out to be so delicious. The meal was flavorful and the portions were generous. You can request the level of spiciness to your pallet and they did a good job. We had no room for dessert. The wait staff was kind and very pleasant and spent some time talking to us. We would go back.”

“There are so many great family-owned ice cream stands and cafes with homemade ice cream or famous Maine-made ice cream in my neck of the Maine woods (and seashore) that a chain normally pales in comparison, but Ben & Jerry's is good anywhere. I got their Coffee, Coffee BuzzBuzzBuzz (creative name) and added chocolate sprinkles to it because Ben & Jerry's has the best chocolate sprinkles ever.”

“We had a great time at this well located campground. The facilities were excellent - bathrooms were clean and well maintained. There was a large dishwashing station near to a large playground. We brought our tandem kayaks and paddled around the bay. There are many trails around the campground and the farm restaurant serves delicious food. The campground was a quick drive to Popham beach. Also this is a great place to stay if you also plan to go to Freeport for shopping.”

“I’ve ordered from here several times. The pizza is great, with really creative and tasty options for toppings for meat-eaters and vegetarians alike. The chicken tenders are really good and crispy, with a solid breading to chicken ratio. The service is friendly and helpful, even when they’re quite busy.
The one negative: I ordered salmon on the Caesar salad and the salmon was really, really bad. It was very fishy smelling and tasting; it was very dry and overcooked did not taste, smell or look fresh. I ended up giving it to the dogs (who had no complaints). Everything else was and always has been great!!”

“Food was awesome and the bartender was awesome!!! My wife and I came on Monday night and it was pretty busy. Adrienne made my wife a wonderful Ol fashioned and I enjoyed a glass of wine. Although she was very busy, she was quite attentive. Lovely experience, we will be back to see her again.”
